February got away from me too... but I have an extra day!

It didn't seem like that long ago since we had our last Leap Day in 2020. My one year DreamWidth anniversary also passed this month, and I am well overdue for an up. My apologies for leaving you hanging! With March literally under two hours away from us now, it's fair to say that this year is well under way.

I hope that everyone's new year is going well so far.

Up until recently, I had been putting my artwork on the back burner in order to make more time to study guitar. I have made a lot of progress so far. Over the years, I listened to Nirvana casually. I even made a post on Twitter here, commenting about Kurt's gender fluidity.

Then the December holidays came and I was at home sick with nothing else to do. It was at that point that I really started deep diving into Nirvana. And I ended up falling down that rabbit hole really hard. So hard that, my most recent YouTube uploads have been related to the band in one way or another. Here, here, and here.

Those aforementioned videos do a great job in effectively summarizing how my year has been so far.

I mentioned in the Tokyo vlog that I originally started studying Nirvana because The Moffatts were really big fans of them, as well as Silverchair. I thought this would be a great way to build a foundation in my music education in order to better play the songs off The Moffatts final studio album, Submodalties and the songs of their B-Sides collection.

But what I did not expect to happen was for Nirvana to affect me so profoundly on an emotional and spiritual level.

I'll post a followup soon about how things are going. Gnight, folks!
